About Us

Saddle Network is the network operations division of Candy Horses, providing commercial-grade network infrastructure and managed services to a range of customers. Our core offerings include IPv4 and IPv6 address leasing, recursive DNS resolution, colocation, and BGP connectivity delivered from our Points of Presence in Europe.

We focus on providing reliable, well-operated network services with a transparent peering policy, clean IP resources, and a small team that remains closely involved in day-to-day operations. Whether you’re a hobbyist network operator, a small ISP, or an organization in need of clean address space, we aim to offer approachable and dependable services backed by a real team.

History

Saddle Network traces its origins to Candy Horses, a broader organization under which network operations were initially managed. As the scope and complexity of those operations grew, it became clear that a dedicated entity was needed to manage IP resources, peering relationships, and infrastructure independently.

In 2023, Saddle Network was formally established as a separate division, acquiring all of Candy Horses’ IP resources and taking over full management of network infrastructure. This separation allowed us to streamline operations, maintain clearer accountability, and better serve customers who needed a focused network services provider.

Also in 2023, we completed a significant infrastructure migration — moving from our former point of presence in Zurich to our current Amsterdam location. This transition was driven by capacity constraints at our prior provider, and the move to Amsterdam has since allowed us to expand our peering relationships and improve connectivity across Europe.
