IP Leasing
Saddle Network leases IPv4 and IPv6 address space to customers who need clean, ARIN-registered resources for their own networks and services.
What you can lease
Section titled “What you can lease”| Resource | Source | Details |
|---|---|---|
| IPv4 | 128.254.224.0/22 | ARIN-registered space, leased in blocks such as a /24. |
| IPv6 | 2602:fbec::/32 | ARIN-registered space. We occasionally offer promotional Lifetime leases for IPv6. |
See Address Space for everything we currently hold, and the address space details pages for which blocks are leased or available.
How a lease works
Section titled “How a lease works”All address space we provide is issued as a revocable, non-transferable license. The space remains under Saddle Network’s ownership and ARIN delegation for the entire term, and a lease does not transfer title or any permanent right of use. The full terms are in the Acceptable Use Policy.
In short, while you hold a lease you:
- May announce the leased prefix over BGP, and only the leased prefix. Announcing more-specific prefixes needs written authorization.
- Are encouraged to publish a valid RPKI ROA for the prefix. We filter on RPKI validity.
- Can ask us to delegate reverse DNS (PTR) for the space.
- Are responsible for your own systems and for any traffic that originates from your space.
- May not sell, transfer, sub-allocate, or resell the space without our written authorization.
We may revoke a lease for AUP violations, non-payment, or where ARIN policy or the law requires it.
